What is Orange Peel Extract produced

In traditional Chinese medicine, the dried peel of the fruit is used, often aged (sometimes until it turns black in color) and sometimes even toasted in a wok. Chen Pimeans aged peel. 1. Hesperidin hasantioxidant,anti-inflammatory,hypolipidemic,vasoprotective and anticarcinogenicand cholesterol lowering actions.

2. Hesperidin can inhibit following enzymes: Phospholipase A2, lipoxygenase, HMG-CoA reductase and cyclo-oxygenase.
