Introduce	Quinine is quinoline derivatives, can combine with plasmodium DNA, forming complexes, inhibit the replication of DNA and RNA transcription, thus inhibiting the parasite protein synthesis, the effect of chloroquine is weak relatively. Quinine, moreover, can reduce parasite oxygen consumption, inhibition of the malaria parasite phosphorylase and its interference in sugar metabolism.
Drug properties	Tonic for the malaria parasite at the beginning of the red blood cells, red blood cell period and no the gametophyte, outside of the spread of malaria, recurrence, etiological prevention are invalid, quinine exact mechanism is unclear, but may interfere with the lysosome function and nucleic acid synthesis in the body of the parasite.
